Kenna and I started Hand Jive in the mid 90's out of friendship and a love of fashion and art.

The vision for the company originated from our frustration during monthly shopping trips, unable to find interesting, (and flattering) clothing for ourselves... the "post junior" masses. That's when we started our monthly "studio nights", where we'd spend the evening in my printmaking studio, hand stamping clothes. We got so many compliments on our creations, that we entered a local school craft fair to see what would happen... and the rest, as they say, is history!

Hand Jive is now in it's 13th year of producing original design, limited run women's clothing and traveling the country, (in our infamous Freightliner Sprinter) offering, "groovy clothes for cool chicks" to thousands of you, our faithful patrons.
